Oh Mexico, how I love you so. You and your future-sight-having, Jessica Alba looking babes. So anyway this movie was…not enough Parker Posey. JAlb (I shall always refer to her as such form now on in all blogs and all material released by me) looks great for most of the film. And I am sure if blind people could see they would very much enjoy the pro-blindness expressed in this movie.
From here on it is better if you’ve watched the movie. You know one thing I hate about movies? Yeah your right, ehh that too… ok eh back this is the one thing i want to discuss. Thrillers in which things situations arise and pass then when the character is deep into it and has experienced tons of hardship and scares, they’re all “oh this is what I am supposed to do.” In this moovie, JAlb goes through most of the movie then all of a sudden is at the Mexican border at the exact time of this crash? Come on now Hollywood. Try better. This lady took into account all that JAlb did, took into account that she would not have been declared certifiably insane and then institutionalized!? Was sure that her mother would die and Instead of going to the hospital with the mother, that JAlb would stay and chat? I give them kudos for saying that the road was shut down for some hours, but still, for this I-see-dying-people lady to also have the foresight to account for all that could have gone wrong and get JAlb there on time…wow.
On a side note JAlb. Saving a girl who cannot open a freaking door ( when he smashed the window i thought it was jammed and she’d shimmy through the window. But all he did was flip a handle. No lock, no key, no combination, FLIP A FAKIN HANDLE!!!!!! Let the bitch die. Then not having the foresight to duck when she ran behind the car…
